DAY OFF TAKES GOLD
Our Day Off Gin has just won itself a gold medal at the New Zealand Spirit Awards! To say were stoked is an understatement, and pats on the back probably won't cut it either. However, aside from the extra G&Ts we'll be toasting this arvo, we're taking this as an opportunity to humble-brag about a gin we started making this time last year, and a hand crafted day off that was long overdue.
You probably know the story by now, but in March 2020 the arrival COVID-19 gave a slap in the face to daily routine here at GG. We threw the brakes on the process of developing a gin range, and gassed up to start cranking out 10,000 litres of hand sanitiser to supply communities in need.
One year on, a few label changes, some choice swear words, and a lot of hard work from our awesome team, a gold medal is in our hot little hands. Now a gold medal winning gin can be in yours. If this isn't a reason to enjoy a Day Off Gin, we don't what is.
