  • 90ml Good George Negroni Cocktail
  • Generous twist of fresh orange peel
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Fill a short glass with ice - plenty of it.
  2. Pour 90 ml of Good George Negroni Cocktail from the bottle
  3. Squeeze in a wedge of orange and give it a gentle stir. Done.

Unfortunately, it doesn't taste like any negroni

Unfortunately, it doesn't taste like any negroni I have ever tasted and I have had plenty in my time in Italy and NZ. Not sure what your classic aperitif is in the mix, but it doesn't give it the classic negroni taste of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth. Shame, because I was looking forward to enjoying it when it arrived at my house.

This doesn’t taste like your typical negroni. It has an unusual note at the end, almost like cinnamon. The colour is also pinkish-red which is also unusual.

Not what I was expecting in a negroni

Not what I was expecting in a negroni, there’s an aniseed taste and i have to mix it into a gin or put on soda water which makes it slightly like an aperol.
I’m sure others will enjoy it but it’s not for me.

Too sweet to be a true negroni. We love negroni. This isn’t too bad but it’s a bit sweet for our liking.
